We the Broken

War on the Horizon writes heavy music about the quiet parts of falling apart and finding a way back.

The songs move between crushing weight and something more fragile, built from the feeling of being alone in a room at the worst hour of the night. "We the Broken" is where that sound came together, and it is the clearest picture of the band so far.

The six-piece is a mix of veterans from the local metal scene. What began as a 2019 side project for founder Matt grew into a full band, now fronted by his daughter Madison on lead vocals, and they have since shared stages with national touring acts at venues across Michigan.
